Booster Lip - For lip tattoo procedures
Ingredients: Aqua, Glycerin, Ethyl Alcohol, Witch Hazel, Hyaluronic Acid, CI 73360:1 (red 30)
Many technicians experience difficulties performing lip procedures. Colour retention is poor and at times requires multiple procedures to achieve the desired results. There are several reasons why this occurs:
- Lips will bleed quickly because there are many blood vessels in the area
- During a lip procedure, the body sends a distress signal and the brain sends lymph for protection, which forces pigment colour out
- Lip pigments have a low specific gravity: 2 lbs. of red pigment is about 1.2 gallon in volume. So the pigments can be easily transported out of the skin by blood and lymph
- Lips are continually in movement, talking, touched by things eaten and drunk, also the bacteria in saliva
- The skin of the lips is a membrane. It is therefore difficult to encapsulate pigment, which then will fade and disappear in a couple of years
The advantages of Booster Lip are:
- It will reduce the transport of the lymph, therefore better pigment retention
- The puncture holes will close faster, therefore back flow of pigment is reduced substantially. The pigments will be fixed in the puncture hole
- Booster Lip staunches the bleeding
- Booster Lip will lower the pH of the pigment, and as the skin raises the pH it will contract and the pigment is able to remain
Application:
- Add 2 drops of Booster Lip to the pigment used for the procedure and stir well
- After the first pass (when skin is open) add neat Booster Lip with a micro-brush
- Allow to absorb and continue your procedure
